Batch II is Now 9001:2015 Certified
The long wait is over for the ISO 9001:2015 Certification Audit of Batch 2, which composed of Layout and Piping Engineering Division, Boiler Engineering Division, Turbine Design Depart-ment, Heat Exchanger Engineering Section and Civil Engineering Power Section. After a long period of preparation, Batch 2 passed the Stage 2 audit conducted by the TUV-SUD Philippines for its application with the International Organization for Standardiza-tion (ISO) 9001:2015, a Quality Management System (QMS).

The stage 2- certification audit was carried out last August 22-23, 2017 by the auditors of TÜV SÜD Philippines which consists by Ms. Adorable Aguilla, Ms. Salvacion Ganot and Mr. Erveene Zoleta. The audit aims to determine conformity of the Batch 2's QMS with the audit criteria and its ability to ensure that applicable statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements are met and its effectiveness, to ensure that the client can reasonably expect to achieve their specified re-quirements and also to identify applicable areas for potential improvement.

During the Opening meeting, Ms. Adorable Aguilla present-ed the TÜV SÜD brief history and background, objective of the audit, scope of the audit, audit methodology, non-conformity classification and lastly the audit plan that will serve as schedule of audit. The two day audit was filled with nervousness and excitement brought by the positive and nega-tive expectations. After the audit, Batch 2 representatives gath-ered at 25th Floor Conference Room to attend the closing meet-ing. TÜV SÜD cited 2 minor non-conformities and 5 opportu-nities for improvement. Following this, the Batch 2 will be recommended by the TÜV SÜD for certification with ISO 9001:2015 after the submission and evaluation of corrective actions.
For the closing speech, Mr. Masahiko Mishiro imparts some reminder that passing the certification was just the beginning. The challenge now is how can we sustain and integrate the Quality Management System in our daily work to achieve our ultimate goal to become a World Class Engineering Center in the field of EPC & Manufacturing and also its continual im-provement.
And with that… Batch 2 is now ISO 9001:2015 Certified. Big congratulations for achieving our goal in passing the certification. Let us be more committed and involved in sustaining our Quality Management System and continually improve it for the better-ment of our company.
